The weekly curriculum will be tailored specifically for each age group.

Week #1: Week of September 23rd
You’ve Got a Friend In Me – Bring A Friend Week! This week we highlight how to be a good friend and what that entails such as being a good listener, dependable, honest, non-judgmental, and having safe boundaries when it comes to friendships. We are also opening our studio up to a friend of their choice. Our students enjoy the open forum we create to discuss issues they may face and how to navigate certain situations.

Week #2: Week of September 30th
Confidently Social – We will help ease the awkwardness of meeting new people by engaging our students with some fun social exercises, and social icebreakers. We will discuss 5 powerful speaking tips on navigating new conversations when in a room of diverse people.

Week #3: Week of October 7th
The Power of Self-Care – Self-care is the superpower of well-being. What is your favorite self-care activity? Our students can choose between facial saunas and aromatherapy skin care, yoga, meditation, journaling, or artistic expression.

Week #4: Week of October 14th (Classes are held on Columbus Day. If your child cannot attend the Monday class, makeup can be made on Tuesday, October 15th)

Step Into Your Power – This is a powerful class on the importance of a strong presence and how to represent your higher self! Standing tall, proud, and walking confidently. (we use our runway as a tool of empowerment for this class) Owning who you are regardless of society’s standards. It’s all about self-love and self-expression.

Week #5: Week of October 21st
Follow My Lead – Leadership skills are essential building blocks for young minds. We will discuss how leadership fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Developing these abilities early on empowers children to become confident, responsible, and influential members of society. By learning to collaborate, inspire, and make decisions, young people gain the tools to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and create positive change in their communities.

Week #6: Week of October 28th
Amazing, Powerful, ME! – This week’s discussion is about how we are more than a body and will discuss the importance of a sense of self. We will discuss how to embrace and love yourself through the different stages your body goes through during your lifetime. It all comes down to self-knowledge and a sense of self.

Week #7: Week of November 4th
Stronger Together – A growing body of research has shown that exercise of all types can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior. Our goal is to show students practical techniques they can use independently to practice positivity. Guest fitness instructors to be announced.

Week #8: Week of November 11th (Classes are held on Veterans Day. If your child cannot attend the Monday class, makeup can be made on Tuesday, November 12th)
