Maria Wood, Program & Curriculum Director

Maria Wood founded the Fashion Focus Program 18 years ago with passion and determination to help all girls feel empowered. Maria had her own personal struggles with self-confidence and took very specific steps to regain her inner-strength and self-esteem. Her personal confidence building steps are the foundation of the principles behind her very successful Fashion Focus Program curriculum. She works diligently to update her curriculum so it is relevant to the ever-changing times. Maria has three grown children of her own, Alexandra, Gabrielle and Gregory and has been a resident of the South Shore for 28 years.
