We are thrilled to celebrate 25 years of empowering kids, teens, and adults on the South Shore and beyond!

Classes begin Thursday January 30th, 2025 through May 1st, 2025.

 

Empowerment, confidence-building, important life skills, and friendship-building for boys are here! Our studio offers a safe and welcoming space for boys to connect with other like-minded peers and connect to the power they possess within.

 

Simply put, at Fearless Focus we strive to empower our students in a manner that encourages their belief in their own abilities and potential for positive growth. Each program offered focuses on key elements of building them up from the inside out.

 

The Boys Program curriculum is centered around these important foundations: Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, and Compassion! Classes include public speaking, posture and presence, etiquette, positive mindset strategies, self-care, manners and public image, physical fitness, nutrition, goal setting and so much more!

Our Boys Program Spring Class Schedule is as follows. All classes are one hour in length.

  • Thursday 4:30PM – Ages 5-9
  • Thursday 5:30PM – Ages 10-12
  • Thursday 6:30PM – Ages 13-18

 

⚠ Maria Wood Studio's Refund Policy: Full refund will be given within two weeks of the date your child is registered. After two weeks, a credit will be issued to use for future programs or merchandise.

Weekly Class Descriptions:

Week #1: Jan 30th – Social Strategies – Bring A Friend Week

 

Focus is on enhancing social connections and building a supportive community. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend, family member, or mentor to join them in interactive activities designed to increase social confidence, strengthen existing relationships, and develop new friendships.

 

Week #2: Feb 6th – Dare Not To Compare

 

We’ll delve into the damaging effects of social comparison and learn practical strategies to cultivate self-acceptance and focus on your personal journey.

 

Week #3: Feb 13th – Self Care For Success

 

This class will equip students with the essential tools for self-care, helping them build a strong foundation for success in all areas of their lives. Each student will be given their own mini self-care kit.

 

NO CLASSES THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 17TH – FEBRUARY VACATION WEEK

 

Week #4: Feb 27th – Passion Projects

 

This dynamic class encourages self-expression and builds confidence! Students will have the opportunity to showcase something they are passionate about. This could be anything from a favorite hobby or a personal project to a unique skill or talent.

 

Week #5: Mar 6th – Code of Behavior

 

Students will learn how to navigate social situations with confidence. We’ll explore appropriate dress and behavior in a variety of settings, including special events, home and school.

 

Week #6: Mar 13th – Building Healthy Habits

 

This class will focus on building healthy habits to nourish our body and boost self-confidence. We’ll explore Healthy Eating Basics, Physical Activity, Body Positivity and Self-Compassion.

 

Week #7: Mar 20th – A Taste of Social Grace

 

Field Trip To A Local Restaurant! – More Info To Follow.

 

Week #8: Mar 27th – Poised and Powerful

 

We’ll explore the fascinating connection between body language and self-assurance. We’ll delve into the subtle nuances of non-verbal communication, uncovering how to shift negative body language patterns, develop confident posture and project authority and authenticity.

 

Week #9: Apr 3rd – Finding Your Tribe

 

We’ll delve into the importance of cultivating positive and supportive friendships while recognizing and navigating the challenges of toxic relationships.

 

Week #10: Apr 10th – Calm, Cool & Collected

 

Tips, tools and strategies to navigate challenging situations with parents, siblings and friends with grace and confidence.

 

Week #11: Apr 17th – Goal Getters

 

This class will be customized for each age group and will help: Identify and define personal goals, break down big goals into smaller, manageable steps, develop a growth mindset, celebrate accomplishments and recognize progress.

 

NO CLASSES THE WEEK OF APRIL 21ST – APRIL VACATION WEEK

 

Week #12: May 1st – Review and Preparation for May 3rd Celebration Event
